Continuing Education Credits

Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) Executive Education is registered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and is committed to developing quality learning activities in accordance with the CES criteria. GSD Executive Education is also registered with the American Society of Landscape Architects’ Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES) as a provider of continuing education programs for landscape architects. Learning units will be reported directly to the AIA and/or ASLA on behalf of those members who note their membership number on the registration form. Many Executive Education programs are also approved for CM credits with the American Institute of Certified Planners’ Certification Maintenance (AICP CM) program.

Daily Schedule

Program registration begins 30 minutes prior to scheduled class time. A light continental breakfast and an afternoon snack are served each day.

Classroom Location and Parking

Most programs take place in George Gund Hall, located at 48 Quincy Street, or The Harvard Faculty Club, located at 20 Quincy Street, on the Harvard University campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cambridge has local resident permit-only parking on most public streets. That is why we encourage participants to use public transportation. If you must travel by car, please refer to parking information on our Getting Here page.

Accommodations

Executive Education participants are responsible for their own accommodations. Visit the Where to Stay page for information on hotels and other housing options.

Program Materials

A program binder will be distributed at Program Registration. Some programs may distribute reading materials in advance via a password protected website.

Attire

Unless otherwise specified, business casual attire is appropriate for all Executive Education classes and functions.

Participants with Disabilities

Anyone with disabilities who requires classroom assistance is encouraged to contact us at least two weeks before the program start date.

Program Conduct

We reserve the right to exclude or remove any participant deemed by the instructor or staff to be disruptive to program activities and teaching.
