INFONAVIT, Mexico City

GSD Executive Education’s capacity-building program for Mexico’s Instituto del Fondo Nacional de la Vivienda para los Trabajadores (INFONAVIT) is a highly collaborative program, in which Harvard GSD faculty’s knowledge and global experience are being applied to INFONAVIT’s unique challenges and goals. The aim is to galvanize individual leaders and catalyze institutional processes towards achievement of those goals–via carefully designed exercises and team projects, which require cross-functional teams to apply high-level analysis (financial, spatial, social, planning) to selected problems and sites at various scales (federal, regional and municipal).

The program will focus specifically on INFONAVIT’s desired themes: intra-urban redensification, mortgage and credit instruments, land valuation, urban planning for sustainable communities, and the need for a navigation chart of coordinated projects and programs to generate a practical policy roadmap for the future.

The programs will take place over the course of three years.
