Frank Harmon, FAIA, is an architect and professor at the College of Design at North Carolina State University. His architectural firm, Frank Harmon Architect, specializes in innovative design that is rooted in the particulars of a region. Project types include museums, schools, nature centers, artists' studios, and large and small residences. His work is published in many national publications, and he is the recipient of numerous regional and national design awards including the Kamphoefner Prize for creating modern architecture over a 10-year period. The work of his firm was featured in Architectural Record (Feb. 2001). He has lectured and chaired design award juries throughout the United States.
