Tina Grotzer is Associate Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a senior researcher at Project Zero. Her work focuses on developing understanding of complex causal concepts and the environment. She is Principal Investigator of the Causal Learning in the Classroom and Beyond Project and Co-Principal Investigator with colleague Chris Dede of the EcoLearn projects, funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Tina received a Career Award from the NSF in 2009 and a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) in 2011. She is the author of Learning Causality in a Complex World (Rowman Littlefield, 2012) and lead author of the Causal Patterns in Science curriculum series.
