When registering online, please remember to create or update your profile first. If you prefer, you may download and print the registration form from our website.

Registration Deadlines

Since enrollment is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, you are encouraged to register early. Register online, or download the registration form from our website and mail or fax it with full payment or credit card information. Registration cannot be done by telephone or email.

Program Confirmation

Enrollment confirmation and information on the time and place of the first class meeting are sent by email immediately upon registration. (If you do not receive confirmation within two weeks of submitting your application, it is your responsibility to contact the Office of Executive Education at 617.384.7214 for a verbal confirmation.)

Program Cancellation

The Office of Executive Education reserves the right to cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment one week before the first session. In the event of a program cancellation, all tuition and fees will be refunded. The Office of Executive Education cannot be responsible for applicants’ nonrefundable travel expenses.

Tuition, Fees, Refunds, Withdrawals

Tuition must be paid in full upon registration. A $50 nonrefundable processing fee is required for each applicant. Participants who submit withdrawal requests in writing before the first day of class will receive a tuition refund based on the following terms: Withdrawal from all programs is subject to a minimum $75 charge per program. Withdrawals received 14 to 30 days before the program start date will incur a charge of 10% of the program tuition in addition to the $50 nonrefundable registration fee. Withdrawals received within 14 days of the program start date will incur a charge of 30% of the program tuition in addition to the $50 nonrefundable registration fee. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of the program. See above for program cancellation refund policy.

Tuition Discounts

The following discounts are available for summer programs only: 20% discount on tuition for firms sending four or more employees to the same program (paper registration forms must be sent in together to be eligible); 20% discount on tuition for alumni of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design; 10% discount on tuition for individuals who register for more than one program. Discounts cannot be combined.

Continuing Education Credits

Harvard University Graduate School of Design Executive Education Programs are registered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) and are committed to developing quality learning activities in accordance with the CES criteria. Harvard University Graduate School of Design Executive Education is also registered with the American Society of Landscape Architects’ Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES) as a provider of continuing education programs for landscape architects. Learning units will be reported directly to the AIA and/or ASLA on behalf of those members who note their membership number on the application form. Specific Executive Education programs are also approved for CM credits with the American Institute of Certified Planners’ Certification Maintenance (AICP CM) program.
