After completing the AMDP, Didier shared this message with us:
I would like to thank all of you for the amazing experience I’ve had at the AMDP program throughout the last 2 years. Maybe it be in person or online, the organization was always flawless and the quality of program world class.
The last 2 years have been truly amazing and life changing for me. AMDP has given me the professional skills and confidence to navigate through the uncertainty of covid and come out of it much stronger!
I’m sad that the AMDP adventure is over but I now have new opportunities that I can’t wait to start working on! Being from a pure Architect background running my architectural practice, but with new skills acquired at AMDP, my newly founded real estate company just last week signed off our first major land acquisition for a new interesting mixed use/ office project centrally located. The beginning of a new real estate adventure!
About Didier
Upon receiving a State of Mauritius scholarship in 1997, Didier Ho studied Architecture in Sydney & graduated 1st class Honors with the Cox Architects Award in 2004 for the best international graduation project. Didier was selected as one of the Washington Mandela young African leaders for an intensive Leadership & Entrepreneurship course at Dartmouth College followed by a summit with president Obama in 2015. Didier has also completed the Glen Murcutt master class in 2014 as well as the AA Summer school in London in 2004.
Didier worked in Paris for Architecture Studio & in Mauritius for 8 years before founding DH Architecture in 2011 in search of a new challenge & to be able to fully explore his passion for Architecture. Didier has successfully completed major 5-star Hotel projects and worked with International brands such as Club Med, Hilton, Accor and New Mauritius Hotels in Mauritius, Rodrigues, Seychelles & Marrakech as well as completed a major state of the art theatre project in Mauritius at the Caudan waterfront.
Didier founded DH Property in 2019 to pursue his interest in real estate development and completed the advanced Management Development Program (AMDP class 20) at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He received both the Harvard GSD Jury’s award & people’s choice award for the AMDP project.
Didier is an ex-chairman of the Mauritius Round Table No 1 and is a member of the Entrepreneur Organization.
