Alexander "Lex" Kelso began collaborating with Green Coast Enterprises in 2007 on a variety of major projects. After two years of working closely with the team, Lex joined Green Coast as a Principal at the beginning of 2010. Lex is also the Principal of Great Oak Development, where he has pursued residential projects in the Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans. Lex founded an angel investor group in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that has invested over $1.5 million in eight deals in its first two years of existence. Prior to his parallel careers as angel investor and real estate developer, Lex was the Principal of Kelso International, a consulting firm whose engagements with senior executives and Boards of Directors of Fortune 500-scale companies were multi-year, multifunction, on-site and integrated into clients’ management teams. Lex has also served as Chairman of the Board of Viking Systems, Inc., an Associate with the MAC group, and an Assistant Professor of Finance and Economics at Boston University’s School of Management. Lex holds an A.B. in Sociology from Princeton University, an M.Sc. in Economics from Queen Mary College, University of London, and a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT.
