CHRIS BROWNING is the Director of Global Real Estate for Bain & Company, a management consulting firm of more than 6,000 employees in 47 offices in 30 countries. He oversees real estate activity from global strategy to individual transactions, including development of workplace standards and practices. Prior to Bain, Mr. Browning worked at McKinsey & Company for 16 years, where he was the Senior Manager of Real Estate Strategy. He was also a Senior Vice President at Rockefeller Properties, Inc., directing commercial real estate development, an Associate at Lehman Brothers preparing real estate private placement syndications, and an architect involved in both new construction and historic preservation projects. Mr. Browning earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has architectural degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and McGill University. He is a licensed architect and former real estate broker.
