Edward H. Adelman, AIA, is Executive Director of the Massachusetts State College Building Authority. Mr. Adelman is a registered architect who has managed the planning, design, construction, and operation of institutional facilities for over 30 years. His work includes restoration and adaptive use of numerous historic properties for the National Park Service and the planning, design, financing, construction, and management of facilities at Babson College, Brandeis University, and Salem State University. In 2002, he was appointed Director of Capital Projects for the Massachusetts State College Building Authority and, in 2005, designated as its Executive Director. Established in 1963, the MSCBA provides housing for 15,000 residents on the nine Massachusetts state university campuses, comprising some four million square feet in 100 buildings. Mr. Adelman earned the Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and the Master of Architecture degree from Kent State University.
