Jeff Maki, Senior Director Client Strategy, Control Group, New York, NY. . Jeff helps clients build capacity around technology, working across sector and organizational boundaries and using design-minded thinking to improve outcomes. Past clients include The New York MTA, NASA’s Ames Research Center, The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The City of Pittsburgh, and others. Before joining Control Group, Jeff was a Director at OpenPlans where he led a team of designers and developers consulting on transformative technology for the public sector. He has been honored as an invited speaker for several transportation panels, including the lead on MTA’s BusTime for Brooklyn Tech Talks. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, with a minor in Art from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master of Information Systems Management degree from the H.J. Heinz III College of Public Policy.
