Tanvir Shah is an Instructor at Harvard GSD Executive Education, and Managing Director at The Partnerships, a consulting firm that helps execute board-level strategy in the Middle East across multiple industries. Based in Dubai for over 30 years, Tanvir has established a track record of earning trust and delivering value. His work building profitable partnerships has been recognized with the Banker Middle East, Cards International and Freddie awards.
At The Partnerships Consulting, he advises on strategy, investments and joint ventures. He helps commercialize opportunities in Banking, FinTech, Real Estate and PropTech.
At Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Tanvir launched and built one of the largest payments businesses in the region with $ 3 Billion in annual volumes. He held leadership roles in helping grow the Residential mortgages component of the $ 6 Billion Real Estate financing business. Earlier he launched the consulting division at The International Investor (TII) and built media assets at Motivate Publishing. He also mentors FinTech and PropTech start-ups supported by the Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah government accelerators.
Tanvir is an active alumnus of Harvard University (USA), a qualified Chartered Marketer (UK), and holds a business degree from Bombay University (India).
