Kathleen “Kathy” MacNeil is a principal at MP Boston, the local arm of the developer Millennium Partners based in New York. In addition, she is a Lecturer in the Real Estate program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. She is a leading figure in large-scale urban development, known for her role in shaping the Boston skyline through complex projects such as Millennium Tower
and Winthrop Center. MacNeil is particularly recognized for her innovative approach to sustainability, as Winthrop Center is currently the world’s largest Passive House office building, and for her deep commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion within the construction industry.
She holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License and is a LEED Accredited Professional. She achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute and a master’s in science degree from the MIT Center for Real Estate.
Kathy currently serves on the Board of Director’s for Wentworth Institute of Technology, Friends of Post Office Square, R.H. White Construction and Commodore Builders. For fun, she is a cyclist, hiker (having recently completed the 48 NH 4000 footers) and enjoys time with her three grandchildren.
