AMDP | Electives

Electives give each AMDP participant the opportunity to explore the subjects most relevant to them and their goals. 

AMDP participants are required to complete a total of 4 Elective Units. Each qualified program is designated a unit value. Please note that:

  • AMDP electives must be taken through programs offered by Harvard Graduate School of Design Executive Education (online, on campus, or in our joint programs that we offer with other Harvard schools).
  • Tuition for electives is not included in the AMDP tuition due to the variety of program options. However, there is a discount for individuals signing up for multiple programs at once. Email us for details.
  • Elective programs are open to public enrollment and are not exclusive to AMDP participants.
  • Participants have a year following their final term to complete their electives.
  • Qualified programs taken up to five years before starting AMDP count toward the requirement.

The table below displays the qualified programs we are currently enrolling for, including the number of elective units granted for each. This list is updated on a rolling basis and new programs are added when registration opens.
